Heilige Natuur Sites: Die Sources van Biocultural Diversiteit
This is a call for expressions of interest for the next Issue of “Kaap Kruis”, Geld Net se opkomende tydskrif wat op hierdie geleentheid word in samewerking met die Heilige Natural Sites Initiative.

Please send your your idea in one or two paragraphs to the Langscape Editor, Ortixia Dilts: ortixia@terralingua.org~~V, before June the 15th so that we can solicit full contributions as soon as possible. We aim to have all full contributions in by the 15th of July.
Heilige natuurlike plekke is bronne van biocultural diversiteit gekenmerk deur 'n duidelike geestelike dimensie. Die ervaring van die heilige lande het sedert lank afgesonder van die ontwikkeling en die bewaring van biodiversiteit en unieke habitatte vir wilde diere en plante in staat gestel om. In addition the rich cultural practices and religious beliefs related to these places constitute of some of the most profound relationships that humans have with the earth.
Ons is op soek vir onderhoude, artikels, gevallestudies, poësie, uitdrukkings van kuns en foto's met 'n maksimum van 1500 woorde (uitgesluit verwysings) in 'n MS Word doc formaat. Foto's en illustrasies in 'n 300dpi jpg. formaat.
Ons is bly om saam te werk met gasredakteurs Bas Verschuuren en Robert Wild, Redakteurs van die boek Sacred Natural Sites (Earthscan 2010) vir hierdie probleem. Bas en Rob is mede- chair and Chair to the IUCN Specialist Group on Cultural and Spiritual Values of Protected Areas and Coordinators for the Sacred Natural Sites Initiative www.sacrednaturalsites.org
