In April 2012, ABN held a second African regional gathering of Sacred Natural Sites Custodians, from four African countries (కెన్యా, ఇథియోపియా, Uganda and South Africa). The custodians met in Nanyuki, కెన్యా, to share their experiences in reviving their knowledge, practices and governance systems as well as their concerns over the increasing threats to their Sacred Sites and Territories. Together the group drafted a Statement of the Common African Customary Laws for the Protection of Sacred Sites. They now invite you to read and share it.
